CONDITION AND GRADING OF COINS SOLD BY H&H

SLAB - All coins sold as "slabs" have been graded by either the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) 1.800.447.8848 or Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC)1.800.642.2646. For copies of their grading standards please call them.


RAW - On raw or non-certified coins, essential elements of the A.N.A. grading system generally apply.
VF - Very Fine: Shows moderate wear on high points of design. All major details are clear.
XF - Extremely Fine: Design is lightly worn throughout, but all features are sharp and well defined. Traces of luster may show.
AU - About Uncirculated: Has traces of light wear on many of the high points. At least half of the mint luster is still present.
CU - Has some traces of friction from other coins or a coin cabinet but none from circulation. May show a number of contact marks, and surface may be spotted or lack some luster.
BU - Uncirculated: Has no traces of wear but may show a number of contact marks, and surface may be spotted or lack some luster.
