Nicely toned obverse clearly double struck evident in the GEO of GEORGIA and GO of GOLD. The reverse is toned with a stain running vertical from 11:00 to the y of ASSAYER. Both obverse and reverse have numerous handling marks. This coin also has slightly prooflike surfaces, as would be expected from lightly used dies. The undated, 40 stars variety has but two confirmed specimens, both in the Smithsonian.
